How to Recover Dining Room Chairs?

Glad you asked...
To recover dining room chairs (and this is for the chairs that only have material on the seat) you will need to purchase sturdy fabric and have a staple gun on hand. Remove the seat bottoms from the chairs and take off the upholstery (saving the padding), cut the material to fit and place it on a table with the padding and the board from the seat on top. Pull one end up (to the bottom of the seat) and staple, do the same with the far corner while pulling the material tight. You may have to pinch the material in the corners to make it fit correctly. Then do the remaining corners. Once the corners are done it is just a matter of pulling the rest of the material taut and stapling around the seat. Trim off any excess material. Replace the seat bottom on the chair and it will look like new.
