How to Build a Wooden Deer Stand?

To build a platform wooden deer stand you will need four 16 foot 4x4's to use as posts. Place the posts about 3 feet in the ground and have each one level with the others. Around the top of the posts you will nail 2x6 boards from post to post to stabilize the structure. Frame up 2x4's (as you would for a wall) to fit all sides of the structure. Leave a large "window" in each wall to allow shooting and add a flat ply board roof.
